Next: Argentina’s yearly inflation increased to 211.4 percent in 2023, numbers released recently by the government show. It is the highest rate in 32 years. Gregory Stachel reports.

Then: Bryan Lynn presents the LE Science and Technology Report. North Korea announced earlier this week it had carried out a test of a hypersonic weapon attached to a missile. Bryan explains what these weapons are, how they differ from others, and what North Korea and other countries might do with such weapons. After the report, Bryan and Dan Novak discuss how missile defense systems might be changed to better detect hypersonic weapons.
