If you’re about to take your figure skating journey a bit more serious, then it is only a matter of time until you come across the backward inside loop. While often referred to as a turn, the backward inside loop maintains the backward inside edge the entire time while creating a small circular pattern on the ice.

So how do you start learning a backward inside loop? Well that’s the easy part, because in this lesson we’re going to show you how to start working on your backward inside loop at your next training session!
