Le Samouraï the 1967 neonoir crime thriller by JeanPierre Melville is quite arguably one of my favourite movies. Known to have sparked the lonewolf archetype seen in other movies like Taxi Driver (1976), Nightcrawler (2014) or Drive (2011), Le Samouraï is a near perfect masterpiece blending together a simple story through its crafty cinematography, brilliant background score and some amazing acting.
