This will be a 2 part series on repairing a worn and damaged clutch shaft out of a Colechester lathe. In part 1 I'll show welding up the drive end, bearing journal and keyway and getting it turned back to the proper specs. In part 2 we'll do a flame spray build up repair on the clutch end and mill the 10mm keyway. I'll also be putting to work some new Walter tooling and carbideI got in.
