The Garfield Movie is an upcoming American animated comedy film based on Jim Davis' comic strip Garfield. Garfield (Chris Pratt), the worldfamous, Mondayhating, lasagnaloving indoor cat, is about to have a wild outdoor adventure! After an unexpected reunion with his longlost father – scruffy street cat Vic (Samuel L. Directed by Mark Dindal from a screenplay written by David Reynolds and the writing team of Paul A. Kaplan and Mark Torgove, in addition to Chris Pratt and Samuel L. Jackson the cast is rounded out by Hannah Waddingham, Ving Rhames, Nicholas Hoult, Cecily Strong, Harvey Guillén, Brett Goldstein, and Bowen Yang. John Debney, a frequent collaborator of Dindal, composed the score. Produced by Columbia Pictures and Alcon Entertainment, animated by DNEG Animation, and distributed by Sony Pictures Releasing.
