Lambo No. 6: Vintage V12 Power Roars Back | Tyrrell's Classic Workshop

Tyrrells Classic Workshop

Get ready for a journey into the heart of automotive history as we unveil a true rarity: the 3.5litre V12 engine from the 6th EVER production Lamborghini, the iconic Lamborghini 350GT. But here's the kicker — this powerhouse isn't nestled under the bonnet; it's been resurrected, rebuilt, and mounted on display for all to behold.

You see, this Lamborghini's story is one of evolution. Over the years, the car shed its original 3.5litre engine in favour of a beefier 4.0litre powerhouse, leaving this gem dormant. However, the owner came knocking, asking if we could breathe life back into this piece of Lamborghini history, and after some coaxing, we took up the challenge.

Under the skilled hands of the team, in particular Les and Pete, this engine has found new life. It's been carefully assembled onto a display stand, complete with a basic dashboard, 1960's vintage Weber carbs, wiring harness, and a simple cooling system.

Now, the moment of truth has arrived. Join us as we fire up this historic V12, witness its revival, and pay homage to the legacy it represents.

Whether you're a Lamborghini enthusiast, a history buff, or simply curious about the mechanics of an iconic V12 engine, this video is your backstage pass. Join us in celebrating the resurrection of automotive history.
