Right after he was born, the black kitten's mother refused to feed him. Since our cat Johanne recently gave birth to two kittens and she had plenty of milk, we were given the kitten to feed.
At first, Joanna took it hostilely. She tried to growl and was aggressive towards it. But after a while, she realized that the kitten was hungry and needed care. She let him in and fed him, then of course she licked him from head to toe and accepted him as her own baby.
Then she introduced him to her kittens. They quickly became friends.
