Due to the #cam levers being made of #heatresistant #thermoplastic, the products can be used at a #permanent temperature of 160 °C, and even up to 250 °C for short periods. High quality steel or stainless steel sleeves and pins support the #heat resistance.

When the user moves the cam lever past the dead centre when opening, the pin remains disengaged. Objects such as fixtures, hatches and machine parts that are #secured with several #indexing plungers can thus be easily operated by one person.

The #ergonomically shaped #cam levers are designed so that the user can engage or disengage the pins using just #one #finger. This leaves one hand free with which, e.g. the workpiece can be additionally #held in place.

#Indexing using a cam lever is not only simple, but also saves #time. Previously, to disengage the pin one had to pull the knob up and then rotate it. To #engage it, the same process in reverse.
With a cam lever, the lever only needs to be raised to disengage the pin. Light #pressure on the #lever beyond the dead centre is enough for the pin to engage automatically by spring force.

The #installation height of these models is #lower due to the flat lever. This means that indexing plungers with cam levers can also be used for applications where a flat design is crucial.
