It's not very often that YouTube antiquarians receive any acknowledgement for their work, so this week we set out to do just that.

We're looking at the perplexing Chute Causeway in Wessex. A Roman road that behaves like no other, and seems to defy the usual logic and precision displayed by the Roman road planners. Well, the legendary @pwhitewick couldn't accept the consensus and set out to challenge it. This is the story of his discovery.

As well as Paul's discovery, we also visit a spectacular roman quarry. All this in a 13 minute video what can we say.

@hedleythorne joins us too and supplies some astonishing aerial videography with Alfred his big one including Fosbury Camp, an Iron Age hillfort.
