For us, sustainability isn’t just about ‘going green.’ It’s a fundamental way of doing business—one that conserves natural resources and reduces waste, consumption and operating costs. Technology and innovation constantly drive our sustainability and our manufacturing efforts. KI recently implemented a nitrogen generator in our injection molding operation so that we can produce the nitrogen here on site. We also developed nitrogen controls for our injection molding machine to control and minimize the amount of nitrogen that we have to use. Reducing the amount of materials we go through and the number of transport trucks on the road.
