How to make candied nuts. This is actually crystallized nuts. There is no oil in this recipe. You don’t need a thermometer, you don’t need to make a hot sticky caramel, and it’s only 3 ingredients:
icing sugar (confectioners sugar), nut of your choice, and water.

Optional salt sweet spicy mixture:
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup sea salt
1/4 tsp cayenne ( put less if you don’t want it too spicy and vice versa)

Put as little or as much as you want of this

   • Fried candied nuts, no oven  

You want to make a thick paste as you see in the video. Spread mixture on a parchment lined sheet pan and bake at 325 F for 15 minutes. After, give the nuts a good mix, breaking the bits up and this part is optional but sprinkle some granulated sugar, salt and cayenne on to the nuts and bake again for 5 min. Let mixture cool completely and enjoy
