In this video I am changing the transmission fluid on a 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL. 8 speed 850re transmission.

Steps to check fluid level or refill:

Jeep needs to be on level ground.
Start Jeep leave running throughout process
Transmission should be between 86* and 122* fahrenheit.
Shift to Reverse for 5 seconds
Shift to Drive for 5 seconds
Shift to Second Gear for 5 seconds
Place in Neutral
Raise RPM to 2,000 RPM"S for 5 seconds
Place in Park
Remove fill plug from passenger side of transmission
Fill until fluid is dripping out
Place fill plug back in and torque to 26 ft lbs.
