2010: Lately one of our cats has been causing mischief. We've been trying to find out which one it was. One of our cats, Jack (who is one of two possible suspects), jumped up on the counter only to be positively spooked by the tinfoil that was laid down to deter the cats. This happened around 2:00 AM. May happen tomorrow night, we'll have to see... But the camera will definitely be rolling again!

2013: So why did this happen? It's simple, the foil scared him! Jack has always been a weird cat, jumping over unusual things and just being skittish in general. He had jumped up on the counter before with no issue so, when he jumped up this time and heard the foil crinkle loudly? He became a rocket!

2023: Decade later update! Jack is STILL alive and kicking! My mother still has him and he's nearly 20 years old and is almost completely blind. He has lots of trouble getting around these days. He's certainly seen better days, but he won't be jumping on any counters ever again, that's for sure.
