The Ankarsrum Assistent Stand Mixer goes by different names: Electrolux, Original Mixer, Assistent. But whatever you decide to call it, one thing is clear this is a kitchen top workhorse. But the question is, is this the best stand mixer you can buy in 2021 and beyond? Though it is usually the distant runner up to the KitchenAid in the minds of home cooks, the Assistent Mixer does everything the typical stand mixer does but with a little bit of style. With it's open top features and various options for dough kneading, for the bread enthusiast, the Ankarsrum Assistent hits all the right notes.
