I spent a little more than a week in Ireland in the latter part of the summer. The majority of my time was spent in and around Galway, which is located on the west coast. There were trips to Inis Mór, the Cliffs of Moher and the Connemara National Park.

It struck me after the fact that the combination of exploring those places nearby and spending time getting to know Galway, might have been the absolute best way to take advantage of the time I had.

Come along and travel the world with Richard Green. Retiring in the spring of 2023, I am embarking on fulltime world travel. I'm going solo, but the idea here is not to focus on me so much. It's about the places and the people along the way.

The title Old, Alone and Far From Home might initially come across as a sad state of being. My mission is to show that it's just the opposite.
