The Minecraft Survival Guide Season 3 continues in Minecraft 1.20!
This tutorial will show you how to set up item filters for an automatic selfsorting storage system.

We start with a basic standalone item filter, explaining what each component in the circuit does, then discuss why overflow protection is important when building these circuits sidebyside. After that, we move on to the classic@impulseSV item filter and demonstrate automatic sorting for all the different Overworld wood types!

Later in the video I show some of the process of planning out a longterm storage building, with different categories of blocks to consider for bulk storage.
Along the way we take a closer look at the push and pull behaviours of hoppers, explain why eggs aren't an ideal filter material, and discover how renaming items in an anvil can prevent your storage system breaking!
