Installing RV Windows and Maxxair Fan in a DIY Cargo Trailer Camper / Tiny Home

DIY Cargo Trailer

Staying cool and an openair feel was important to us in the design of our DIY cargo trailer camper conversion so Caitlin and I installed RV windows and a Maxxair roofmounted fan as one of the first steps in our build.

As part of our journey to turn a 7x14 foot cargo trailer into a fully customized DIY camper / tiny home, we were excited to start cutting holes in our trailer. Cutting holes in your trailer is a little scary because once you start, you can’t go back!

We hope you enjoy this video and learn something along the way. For full details, helpful howto’s, and indepth build guides, check out our website and start your own DIY camper too!
