Darrell Thorp's relationship with one of rock's prized producers, Justin MeldalJohnsen, began in 2000 when he and Justin, a part of Beck's band, were recording the record "Sea Change." Since then, the two have been involved in numerous successful records. When Justin finished producing Poppy's record, "Flux," he reached out to Darrell to take it across the finish line.

In this Puremix exclusive, Darrell reveals more of the techniques he has used to mix and engineer records for some of rock's most prominent artists, gaining him ten Grammy awards and over three Billion streams.
