David Janssen was an American actor, best known for his role as Dr. Richard Kimble in the TV series "The Fugitive". However, it was his portrayal of the fugitive Dr. Kimble that brought him widespread recognition and critical acclaim. Janssen was known for his intense and brooding screen presence, and his work in "The Fugitive" helped to pave the way for the development of the modern TV drama. He passed away in 1980 at the age of 48, leaving behind a legacy as one of the most iconic actors of his generation.
