Have you ever had a question for a First Nations, Inuit or Métis person, but weren’t sure who to ask?

CBC Kids News invited Canadian kids to “ask an Indigenous person anything” and you answered.

Contributor Isabel DeRoyOlson took your questions to a panel of Indigenous changemakers.

They are:
Cree fashion designer Scott Wabano from northern Quebec.
Métis athlete Tracie Léost from St. Laurent, Manitoba.
Tahltan comic artist Cole Pauls from Haines Junction, Yukon.
Inuk TikToker Isabelle Chapadeau from Iqaluit, Nunavut.

Watch the video to learn more about:
How they feel about the new holiday National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
Their hopes for reconciliation in the future.
How nonIndigenous people can be better allies and show up for Indigenous peoples.
What they feel should be done to address residential schools.
