On my way to Snake Road to do some serious Herping ... I always stop and do a quick check here at this roadside historical marker/reststop area located in Southern Illinois. Weather, sunshine and my timing must have been just right on this day. I was unsure if that was a Dekays Brownsnake or not as I'm not from the local area and their is alot more species there vs where I live at.
