The IHS mission is to raise the physical, mental, social, and spiritual health of AI/AN people to the highest level. This video, which features the IHS Deputy Director for Health Care Quality and reflects solely the views of and guidance from IHS, reviews the three goals of the IHS Strategic Plan:
i. Ensure comprehensive, culturally appropriate personal and public health services are available and accessible to AI/AN people.
ii. Promote excellence and quality through innovation of the IHS system into an optimally performing organization.
iii. Strengthen IHS program management and operations and improve communication, information technology, organizational management, and increased accountability.
