This video brings me to this small community church where I was documenting the comings & goings of the folks in between Sunday service worship times. There were crates set up near the easement with perishable & non perishable goods for those who wanted to help themselves. I was met on the sidewalk initially by two individuals questioning why I was documenting. I was cordial but refrained from giving details about conducting the 1A audit. A woman approached after the first 2 individuals retreated back onto property. She went into the concern of kids being recorded, so I explained to her it was the parents responsibility to protect their kids privacy by not looking in my direction or cover the childs face so they couldn't be seen. Eventually the pastor came out with reinforcements (pastor, the original 2 individuals As well as 2 others that joined).
The pastor tried asserting his will on me by telling me I needed to turn off my cameras & stop documenting, even telling me that I didn't have permission to do what I was doing. I explained to him that the same 1st amendment freedom do what I was doing , also gives them the freedom to do what they were doing...I asked pastor how would they like it if I told them they didn't have permission to worship . The look on his face wasn't to pleasing & said it all. He asked if the group could pray for me. It was obvious he doesn't respect ones gender identity along with one right to freely document in public as I was referred to as Jeff. I asked who Jeff was since in never gave my name & he says I dubbed you Jeff. As they walked off I wished well on the now pastor Susan (I dubbed him as well )
