Historical people knew what they were doing when it came to growing long hair, and their hair care routines were SO different than ours.

Did you know that frequently washing your hair can actually be harmful to our hair health? Does this mean we have to have dirty hair? We will be mythbusting in this video about how washing hair with water is NOT the only way to keep it clean. We’ll cover other ways that historical people used to “dry cleanse” hair without the need for shampoo and water.

In this video we’ll also talk about some dangers of modern conventional shampoos, as well as problems with wet detangling hair, and with the curly girl method. Shhh we’ll also learn some shocking facts about how often historical people bathed, and what we can learn from that for hair care.
