I swapped a V8 into my BRZ

Timelapse of my LS engine swap. Music is cheesy but pays homage from the video game that got me into cars when I was a kid, Sega GT2002.

Some info:
I bought my BRZ in 2013. After 5 years of FA20 life, I swapped in a drysumped, cammed, 6.2L LS3 from a Corvette and mated it to a short ratio Tremec T56 MagnumXL transmission. Total weight increase was ~100lbs, largely due to the transmission, maintaining roughly the same weight distribution as stock.
I choose to run a 3stage Aviaid dry sump system because this car will see heavy track abuse and I didn't want to deal with oil starvation. The 2.5 gallon dry sump tank sits behind the passenger seat in an enclosed aluminum firewall.
The car dyno'd at 442whp/407lbft on 91 octane. It's enough power to make first and second gear unusable.
I'm using a GM E38 ECU to manage the engine and the stock Subaru ECU to manage the body side. I fused together the stock corvette engine harness to the stock subaru harness using a CAN gateway unit, which allows for all bodyside ECUs like EPS, Tach, Speedo, ABS, TCS, smart entry, etc to work like stock.

Some notable timestamps:
0:05 Rewiring the stock corvette engine harness to mesh with the subaru body
0:30 Swapping our the trunnion bearings to solid brass bearings
0:42 Swapping in a higher capacity fuel pump
1:12 Fabricating a custom radiator mount (later modified to be angled)
1:19 Engine assy
1:49 Cutting out the trans tunnel brace (worst part of the swap)
2:34 Engine trans going in
3:29 Creating an adapter plate for the GM pedal
3:43 Creating dry sump oil lines
3:59 Harness integration
4:13 Dry sump plumbing
5:10 Engine start!
