The Chilean Woodstar is one of the world’s most endangered hummingbirds and is found only in a small area in the desert of northern Chile. The count for 2023 estimates that there are only a little over 300 remaining birds. You definitely won’t find this rare bird at hummingbird feeders, if you can find one at all!
