In this armoring tutorial I’ll show you how to make splinted vambraces. Vambraces / forearm guards are part of medieval armor meant to protect forearm. Splinted armor is one the easiest ways to make armor and this is a good project for a beginner.

Most of the armor is made from 1,5 mm steel. I wanted to learn more about electro etching and tried to make this simple armor in unique way. So in this tutorial I'll also show how to etch metal.
