I Had My First Issue With The 2.8 Duramax ZR2

On this episode of Repair Geek I fill you guys in on what happened with my 2.8 Duramax ZR2. I had issues with the exhaust aftertreatment system. My DEF injector was plugged, not letting DEF into the exhaust system. When this happens the engine will not let you drive over 65mph then 55mph and eventually only limiting you to 5mph. This is mandated by the EPA it has nothing to do with GM. GM is simply following the government regulations. This issue could affect any 2.8 Duramax diesel powered Chevy Colorado or GMC Canyon. I am unsure why it happened but it was resolved under warranty with no issues.
