In this video I show you how to change out and replace the battery in the Hunter XCore residential irrigation controller. I show you step by step how to unplug the Hunter XCore, how to remove the bottom cover, how to remove the battery compartment cover, and how to take out the battery. I then show you how to reinstall the battery, how to reinstall the battery compartment cover, how to reattach the bottom cover, and how to plug the Hunter XCore back in. You will need to reset the Time and Day. It is possible you will loose other settings so make sure to write them down before doing this.
