You know how when toddlers learn the word dog and everything fluffy with 4 legs is from then on a dog?

My friend came to stay for a few days, Billi has known her for years. Why is she a squirrel? Who knows, no fluffy tail to be seen. But Billi was consistently certain she was a squirrel it happened so frequently we couldn’t keep calling it an oops, so we leaned into the madness and just said “yes Billi, you’re right.”

We frequently get asked if Billi uses the buttons with just us, or whether she talks to other people. The answer is everyone, but you can’t get offended at her choice of words
