The shopping plaza sign in Cypress Springs was severely destroyed. The Krab Junkie on Kelly Road in northeast Houston experienced fallen limbs and debris. At the Conejo Malo club on Travis Street, a brick wall was torn off, causing significant damage. Sheriff Ed Gonzalez issued a warning to the public to get off the roads after reporting an uprooted tree in northwest Houston.
