Today we are going to show how to wire up both a 4 pin and 5 pin relay. This shows how to wire a relay for light bars, foglight, auxiliary lights, and any other vehicle accessories. We will wire the relay up with a switch, a 12V source and a few lights. We will demonstrate the 4 pin relay with a single LED light, and then the 5 pin relay with dual LEDs to show the operation and wiring.

A relay is an electromechanical switch that consists of a set of input relays and a single or multiple outputs. It is the easiest way to isolate a load from the switching circuit that you are using.
