If you have a zipper with fancy tape, you don’t have to hide most of it inside a seam. In this video I show you how to sew it so that the full width of the tape is exposed for a really cute fully lined zipper pouch with boxed corners.

The zipper used in this video is an 8” zip. It measures a total of 9¼” long

The fabric, lining and interfacing is cut 9 ¼” wide X 12” long
The pouch is finished with French seams along the sides and corners.

It’s an easy DIY gift to make or item to sew to sell
