How to See What Microsoft Bing Knows About Your Website - Bing Entity Building for SEO

Entity building is something that I focus on for all of my SEO clients. Whether you are a local SEO client or a national SEO client, you want to make sure Microsoft Bing has a plethora of resources to learn about your website and business that are not from your own domain. Bing uses thirdparty information to help rank the results in their SERP, so you should understand what Bing knows about your website. There are two free ways to check what information Bing has on your website.

First, you can use Bing search directly. Enter the following command:"'tmblast.com" "tm blast"—site:tmblast.com (obviously replace TM Blast with your website name). From here, you will see all of Bing's indexed information about your website and business that is not on your website.

Second, you can use Microsoft Bing Webmaster Tools. You can go to the backlinks section within the report to see what sites are linking to your domain. You can even sort the information by the anchor text, which is critical in backlink building. I'm focused on building a brand in 2024 and beyond, so I try to diversify the anchor text and be as brandspecific as I can.

Basically, you don't want to overlook Microsoft Bing with your SEO strategy. If Bing can drive 10% of your SEO traffic to your site, then put 10% of your focus into Bing each month. Figure out how to get more highquality directory listings (or mentions) on the web if that is what Bing is indexing to help strengthen your online profile and rank better.
