If you are trying to replace an ignition lock cylinder and you have no keys on an older ford (some other vehicles too with no side bar) you can rake or pick it open instead of drilling

This principal is the same when it is installed in the truck customer did not want me to film, so I could not demo this while in the truck

This works if your column has a hole (ejection port)

If your model doesn’t have an ejection port hole, then you’ll need to remove the steering wheel, or plastic column
