In this video, I demonstrate how to oxidize (rust) carbon steel within minutes.

You'll need the follow:

2 oz White Vinegar
16 ozHydrogenPeroxide
2 tbls IodizedSalt

Mix everything well and drain mixture into an empty spray bottle. Before applying the first coat, lightly sand the area to be oxidized. Then, apply your first coat and let it dry for an hour. Apply as many coats as you desire, allowing dry time in between each coat. Once you've reached the desired finished. Apply a few coats of lacquer to seal the oxidized steel.
