What You’ll Need:
A pair of shoes with natural materials like cotton
A large pot — it’ll need to hold your shoes and enough liquid to cover them
Water
Natural ingredients, like food scraps or plants. Not sure which to use? Watch the video for inspiration!
23 tbsp Alum — this dye fixative can be found in the spice or canning aisle of your grocery store
23 tbsp Iron Mordant — this color enricher can be found online

Note: You’ll be working with hot liquid for this one, so adult supervision is required, as well as the use of safety goggles and gloves.
