KETCHUP RECIPE:
Core and peel tomatoes. Then mash and simmer your tomatoes down to about half, stirring every 30 minutes. Then blend with a stick blender. If you don't want any tomato seeds, run sauce through a sieve. Then per quart of tomato sauce, add approximately (to taste):
12 tsp. salt
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. onion powder
1/2 3/4 cup organic cane sugar
1/2 3/4 cup apple cider vinegar
Bring everything to a gentle simmer for about an hour, or until desired consistency is reached.
Then pour your simmering ketchup into clean, HOT jars and seal. Water bath as an extra precaution.
