HOW TO MAKE HOMEMADE CINNAMON ROLLS // STEP BY STEP // SOFT AND FLUFFY

Hey Everyone! I am going to show you how to make THE BEST cinnamon rolls you will EVER taste!! It took me years to make this recipe perfect...from the silky smooth delicious frosting, to the soft and fluffy bread filled with brown sugar and cinnamon. I will show you step by step this nofail recipe! Let's do this!!

Homemade Cinnamon Rolls:
For the Dough:
1 cup warm milk
2 1/2 tsp. instant dry yeast
2 large eggs (at room temperature)
1/3 cup melted butter
4 1/2 cups allpurpose flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 cup granulated sugar

For the Filling:
1/2 cup soft butter
1 cup dark brown sugar (packed)
2 TBSP. cinnamon
Set aside:
1/2 cup heavy cream ( for pouring over rolls before baking)

For the frosting:
6 oz. cream cheese (very soft)
1/3 cup soft butter
1/41/2 TBSP. maple extract
2 cups powdered sugar

Pour warmed milk into a bowl or mixer. Add yeast and mix. Add eggs, butter, salt and sugar and mix together.
Add the flour and mix together until dough pulls away from sides of bowl. Remove from bowl and knead by hand for 57 minutes until dough is elastic and smooth. The dough will be slightly sticky...that is what you want, try not to add flour.
Spray a bowl with cooking spray, add dough and spray top of dough with cooking spray. Cover and let raise until double in size ( about 30 minutes ) Do not let it rise too much or your dough will be too airy.
Meanwhile, in a medium bowl, combine butter, dark brown sugar, and cinnamon. Mix until well combined and set aside.
After dough is double in size, punch it down and place on pastry mat or sprinkle table lightly with flour. Roll dough to measure a 12 X 15" rectangle.
Place filling onto dough and smooth out.
Start rolling dough up tightly from the side of the rectangle.
With a sharp knife, score the dough in the middle, then the middle of the sides, then score 2 slits in between to make 12 rolls. Grease a 9 X 13 inch baking dish.
Take a long piece of dental floss and wrap around dough and cut.
Cover pan with a dish towel and let raise for about 2030 minutes.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Warm the cream in microwave for 30 seconds. Don't make it hot, you just want it to be warm.
Pour warm cream over risen rolls and place into oven. Bake for 1719 minutes until tops are golden brown and center rolls are cooked through.
To make frosting:
In a large bowl, combine SOFT cream cheese and butter. Mix until light and fluffy. Add maple extract and mix. Add powdered sugar and mix until soft and smooth. Spread frosting on warm ( not hot ) cinnamon rolls. Enjoy!!
