How to frame your shots to take better gym videos

Some of you who have been trying to make your own gym content have been asking me, how do I shoot all of my training footage.

So here's what you'll need:
A camera (I use a Sony A7C)
A lens around 50mm and an aperture of f/1.8 or wider (I use a Zeiss 55mm f/1.8)
When framing your shots, look for a foreground element so that it blurs off frame. This will create more depth with your gym footage.
Don't shoot against window lighting. This will darken the subject (you), unless this is the effect that you want.
