I have spent years leveling my lawn. WHY SAND AND NOT SOIL? Stay tuned to the end of the video. This is the process that I have used to make my lawn flat and smooth. If you have very deep holes in the lawn that need to be filled in, I would recommend that you first use soil, and then seed your lawn. This lawn is a coolseason kentucky bluegrass lawn. Cool season lawns want a smaller amount of sand. If you have a bermudagrass lawn you can really go heavy at it.
