Pre Germinating seed has worked well for me over the last few years. Maybe I'm alone here but I get tired of waiting for grass seed to germinate when it is out on the ground. I also HATE moving a sprinkler around 4 times a day for 2 weeks waiting for grass seeds to sprout. So spending a few minutes a day rewetting the seed instead? yes please!
