This week's topic is How To Keep Cool While Boondocking/ Camping in an RV Without Electricity in the Heat of Summer. We've been surviving this summer boondocking as much as we can, when weather and circumstances allow. As long as temperatures are in the low 90s or below we will boondock. Anything about 93 or so and we start looking for hookups. But here are our tips to survive some 90 degree days while boondocking. Tip #1: Try to find shade. Tip #2: Use awnings. Tips #3: Tilt windows and window covers. Tip #4: Open windows to maximize airflow. Tip #5: Use Fantastic Fans. Tip #6: Use fans if possible. Tip #7: Use water to cool off. Tip #8: Cook outside. Tip #9: Camp where it gets cooler at night. Tip #10: Close blinds and use Reflectix on areas with direct sun. Tip #11: Run A/C if possible.

You can keep cool in your RV while camping in the summer, even without electricity. Hopefully these RV tips help you this summer! Stay cool!
