In this video, we will walk through the process of connecting new LED brake lights to an RV or trailer that uses 5 wires instead of 4, and has separate amber turn signals. Instead of running new wires, we decided to purchase a converter box (CURT 56196 2to3Wire Splicein Trailer Tail Light Converter for RV). While this might not be the solution for everyone, it was just what we needed to upgrade the brake lights in our retro 1976 RV.
