How to get rid of crabgrass.

How to get rid of crabgrass naturally, with the methods i describe in this video. I discuss how to kill crabgrass organically, by pulling the crabgrass up and disposing of it, 2nd organic method of killing crabgrass is to pour vinegar on to the crabgrass to change the ph (acidic) and kill it, 3rd idea to rid crabgrass from your lawn is to pour baking soda on the crabgrass, this will also change the ph to a more alkaline ph and also kill it, 4th techinque to naturally rid crabgrass from your lawn is to burn it, only the crabgrass folks, nothing else, not the whole yard, 5th is a combination of any or all of the ways to eradicate crabgrass, fingergrass, or fonio as it is commonly called. Scentigic name is Digitaria it is a genus of plants in the grass family native to tropical and warm temperate regions. Other methods to control and kill crabgrass is by using preemergence herbicide, i like to use organic methods to do this, please feel free to ask me in the comment section how i do this, you see Crab grass is a type of plant that has an allelopathic effect, meaning it releases a toxin that suppresses the growth of other plants, so once you eliminate the weed know as crab grass be sure to replant grass reseed in the bear spots to help control crab grass and keep your lawn looking great. By the way crab grass seeds can remain alive in your soil for years, and germinate even at depths of 2 or 3 inches. So with that said, correct lawn care maintenance can go a long ways in preventing this weed called crab grass from every growing to take over your lawn, knowing that soil temperatures anywhere from 50 70 degrees allows the seeds to germinate, and a mature plant can produce over 150,000 seeds that want germinate till the following year or later, so this is why i say always be fighting this problem with preem, organically or otherwise. So some of the ways you can prevent crab grass from taking over your yard is by mowing at the correct height for your grass, and avoid watering daily, less frequent watering the lawn will promote healther lawn turf grass with deeper roots and fewer weeds, along with proper fertizling, speaking of fertilizer a great organic preemergent to control crabgrass is by applying Corn gluten meal on your lawn , or using a product called PREEM, i will leave a link here, but last i heard the product PREEM is only sold in NY, CT, MA, MD, NJ, PA, VA AND WI ONLY, so if you live somewhere else, feel free to contact me about other ways to control, and kill Crabgrass naturally and organically.
