This video shows you howto (how to) easily erase and factory reset your Mac Computer. We show you how to clean your macintosh hard drive and then install MacOS from scratch. This is especially important for you to do before you sell your computer. You want the buyer to receive a fresh install that they can setup (set up) for themselves. It's also important for you to do so that your valuable data is protected and not shared with the wrong person.

In this video, I show you how to clean off an Apple MacBook Air with macOS Catalina. As long as you have a mac with this OS (operating system), these steps will help you. I made this video because most of the videos on youtube that explain how to erase a mac, feature older computers with older operating systems. I knew that making a 2021 version of this video would be very helpful. I tried to show everything is a clear, stepbystep way, that should be easy to follow. It doesn't take long.

NOTE: Before erasing your mac, make sure that you backup (back up) all of your important data using an external drive. It's also a good idea to sign out of everything that your personal information is connected to (like iCloud, iMessage and iTunes for example). In addition, you should unpair your Bluetooth devices.
