Learn how you can add Google Forms to your WordPress website.

Let’s say you’ve a website and you want to get the details from your visitor using Google Forms.
By using Google Forms, we can avoid installing plugins which your website performs better.

Step 1: Create a Google Form
Go to ➜ https://www.google.com/forms/about/

Click ‘Go to Google Forms’.
To see all the types of forms, click ‘Template Gallery’.
Select the form & make changes like changing text, background color, font style, etc.

Once you’re done with the changes, click on the ‘settings’ icon
And now if ‘Limit to 1 response’ is enabled then your visitor can submit form only once.
If it is disabled, they can submit your form multiple times.

Step 2: Add the form to your website
First, you need the Embed HTML code of the form.
To get that, click ‘Send’ and copy the code from Embed HTML.
Next, create a page on your website, enter a Title for your page.
Now you need to add an HTML block on your page to paste the code.
Click on the ‘+’ icon & search for ‘Custom HTML’ and add it to your page.

To remove the scrollbar in the form,
Go to the edit page and increase the height value in the HTML code.

Now let’s say a visitor fills the details and submits a form.
To see the details, go to ‘Google Forms’ and click ‘Responses’.
To get details in a spreadsheet, click on the spreadsheet icon.

To get an email notification of the response.
Go to Google Form & install ‘Email Notifications’ Addon
