How do you make your puppy confident, calm and content?
The 3 Cs of Labradoodle puppy socialization need you to be aware of your puppy's needs and able to speak "doglish".
The old school puppy training approach was to introduce your puppy to 100 new things in the first 100 days.
We know now there is a better way! It's not the number of experiences your puppy has but that their experiences are positive ones.
How do you know if they are positive? That's where your Doglish skills come into play. Get to know your puppy, watch them closely, learn how they "speak" to you with their body. Discover ways they show you they don't like something or are afraid. Be sure to always reassure your puppy after something happens that makes them unhappy or upset.
You need your puppy to learn you will always be there to protect them and provide security if a situation warrants it.
