HOW TO COOK BEEF TOP SIRLOIN STEAK IN THE OVEN EASY RECIPE
Hello everyone! Recently, beef top sirloin steak has become my favorite cut of beef and today I will share my quick and easy recipe. All you will need is your oven – no BBQ grills, no stovetop searing – just an oven. Start by taking the steaks out of the refrigerator 30 minutes prior to cooking. After 30 minutes, preheat the oven to 275 degrees Fahrenheit. While the oven is preheating, tap the steaks dry with paper towel. To season the steaks, just use kosher sea salt and cover them very well on all sides. And be generous with it because kosher salt is not as salty as regular salt, but it will form a nice crust on the top of the steaks. If you have a meat thermometer, use it for more precise cooking. When the oven has preheated, place the steaks in one level up from the bottom rack and cook them until the internal temperature reaches 125 degrees Fahrenheit. If you do not have a meat thermometer, it will take approximately 25 minutes. Once the internal temperature has reached 125 degrees Fahrenheit, switch the oven from bake to broil, pull the steaks out quickly and place a couple of squats of butter on each steak. Put them back in the oven and set the timer to 3 minutes. When the timer is up, take the steaks out and let them rest for 15 before slicing them. Those cooking times are for medium steak and if you happen to like it medium rare, take the steaks out of the oven after 2 and a half minutes instead of 3 minutes.
