Are your blocks coming out a different size than what you expect, even though you are POSITIVE you accurately measured your fabric when you cut? It could be a result of an improper seam allowance! Not all 1/4" seams are created equal, and can vary from project to project, quilter to quilter, and machine to machine. It's a good idea to familiarize yourself with your machine when you begin a project with new materials so you know EXACTLY where to feed your fabric to get that true quarter inch result!
